Treatments
Please be aware that due to the institution of the HST, all massage therapy treatment pricing will be effected as of July 1st. Please get in touch with your MLA regarding this harsh addition to your health care expense. Treatments will be going up 12% as a result of this tax as we will be paying HST on each treatment. Currently we pay the GST on each treatment. As of July 1st, we will not be including tax in our treatments, and HST will be charged on each treatment. This allows each therapist to keep tax separate, and prices will be in accordance to the Massage Therapist Association's recommended rates. We realize this is a huge jump in prices for those not covered by insurance. We take pride in our work as health care professionals and have kept our prices below recommended rates for 5 years. We could not predict the government taxing health care as it is doing, and we recommend your anger be directed towards your local MLA.
