Jessica Carlin

BFA, RMT

Jessica graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2003. Previously, she performed and studied contemporary dance at SFU to earn her Bachelors in Fine and Performing Arts. Jessica also holds a certificate of health and fitness studies from SFU’s school of kinesiology. She has completed craniosacral therapy courses and is a certified Pilates instructor.

Jessica currently practices registered massage therapy and teaches fitness and rehabilitative Pilates. Previously she taught dance classes and high school outdoor education (including rock climbing, skiing, caving, kayaking and hiking). She has also worked as a teaching assistant and student clinic supervisor at the West Coast College of Massage therapy.

In her practice, Jessica is committed to facilitating the healing process of her clients and conducts a holistic assessment of each person. She uses manual techniques such as, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, muscle energy technique, trigger point therapy, therapeutic exercise programs and other modalities to achieve positive change and restore balance within the body. Jessica has experience working with pregnancy, injury rehabilitation, chronic pain and with populations such as professional athletes and dancers.

Born and raised in the coastal mountains of North Vancouver, BC. Jessica enjoys spending lots of time on the trails and slopes of the sea to sky and can also be found dancing from time to time.
