Donna McMurtry

Donna grew up in Vernon and discovered the outdoors at an early age. She started skiing at the age of six and skied competitively as a   teenager.  She attended UBC where she earned a degree in neuroscience   and after some considerable contemplation continued her studies in   massage therapy.  She has always had an avid interest in the body and how it works.  Massage therapy has taught her how the physical  systems integrate with the emotional and spiritual systems of the body.  As a massage therapist, she enjoys working with active people  and has treated everyone from world class athletes to people who just  have passion for their lives.  She has trained in sports massage, myofascial release, visceral manipulation and craniosacral work. She continues to take courses to increase her understanding of the body  and how it works. Her interests include cycling both road and mountain, skiing, running, reading and enjoying a nice bottle of wine  with good friends. She looks forward to meeting new clients and  helping them to attain better health.  It's important to stay active  for life mentally, physically and spiritually.
